Find the best Latin food in Guatemala Centro America Restaurant
- Matthew SFood is pretty good and affordable. The young lady who served us was extremely helpful, and ensured to make sure we were happy, while also trying to juggle her Advanced math homework. Definitely a family run restaurant, with a warm atmosphere. 9/10 would suggest, as long as you're not looking for a polished experience like what you'd get at a chain restaurant that's targeting making "Karen's" happy. Only real criticism I have is the menu needs work, it's a bit hard to navigate at first, until you figure out the format.
- Jacob GVery cool family owned restaurant. They have dishes from several Central American cultures. This is not your normal Mexican place. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and came out quick. Decor could use an upgrade, but high A sanitation rating.
- M GGreat little family restaurant featuring food from Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and Honduras. The menu from each country is limited but that keeps it special instead of trying to excel at everything. I ordered the Mole Veracruzano and plantains. The chicken breast was so tender that it fell apart. The sauce had more spice than I expected. (I'm from Texas so my expectations for their interpretation was low but they exceeded amazingly.) The plantains were perfect if you like ripe plantains. Don't forget the crema! I'm glad I stopped by and found this hole-in-the-wal restaurant.
